On March 13, 2020, Bishop Edward Burns issued a statement to the Diocese of Dallas suspending all public Masses until March 30, 2020. Churches will remain open for private prayer during this time. Eliminating large gatherings has proved to be effective in curtailing the spread of the virus, and he wishes the faithful to be free of anxiety or distress.
We remind our customers that while our obligation to attend Mass has been waived, we are still obligated to keep the Lord’s Day holy! Please set aside time for prayer and reflection, visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and go to Confession.
